The Path to Integration

This is a 10-year journey from concept to implantation. A focused, methodical plan to bring the Ankylotron platform from research to reality, ending with the system integrated into the human body.

Current

Phase I (Years 1-3) - Foundational Technologies

Building the Foundation

The initial phase focuses on developing and validating the core enabling technologies that form the foundation of the platform.

  • Manufacturing processes for Graphene-CNT composites
  • Flexible Cuff Electrode prototypes for peripheral nerve interfacing
  • Integrated Hybrid Power Modules combining ultrasonic wireless charging and high-density, biocompatible supercapacitors
  • Neural decoding algorithms and LSTM-RNN architectures for real-time signal processing
  • Biocompatible material formulations and surface treatments
Current

Phase II (Years 4-7) - System Integration

Assembling the Platform

Integrating all subsystems into a complete, functional prototype and validating biological compatibility.

  • Assembling the full-scale, 33-segment prototype for mechanical and thermal validation
  • Developing the safety-critical Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) and adaptive AI motor control algorithms
  • Conducting long-term in-vivo studies to validate biocompatibility and chronic safety
  • Optimizing neural interface performance and signal quality
  • Refining actuation systems for seamless biological-mechanical integration
Future

Phase III (Years 8-10) - Human Integration

From Prototype to Implantation

The final phase focuses on perfecting the system and preparing for human integration.

  • Finalizing the human-ready prototype with all subsystems optimized
  • Comprehensive safety validation and performance testing
  • Refining neural interface calibration and adaptation protocols
  • Preparing for surgical integration procedures
  • System implantation and initial activation
